Products – Washington, District of Columbia
Department Products
Employment Type Full-time

Join us as we revolutionize the hospital pharmacy landscape!

Our mission is to wow customers with smart, elegant solutions that help healthcare providers increase efficiency, safety and visibility from manufacturer to bedside.

Our 'vibe' is start-up, but we already have over 400 customers who are tracking medications using our proven solutions. If you have a knack for making complex things simple and an interest in the practical application of artificial intelligence and IoT technologies, we have a place for you!

Do you have a nicely balanced left and right brain such that you are a great analytical thinker who can come up with creative solutions? Are you highly empathetic with your users and love to champion their needs while at the same time can carve a practical path forward based on available resources? This might be the job for you.

As the Product Owner / Interaction Designer, you own the details of the features we build and are measured based on the value and delight we deliver to our end users. You work with the Product Manager to understand the priorities and business objectives of the product roadmap and then prioritize your time to create user stories and designs to match. You work with our clients and parse through usage data to dive into the specifics and really understand the problems they face and then design relevant, easy to use and innovative solutions. You collaborate with our UX lead to make sure that we have a consistent and compelling user experience across all of our applications. You serve as the product owner during the active sprint to make sure dev has the information they need and keep us focused on the most important stories to get to the MVP.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the voice of the customer, with a focus on the user experience.
  • Produce user stories, wireframes, and other UX artifacts and have them “ready” a couple of sprints ahead of when we plan to develop them
  • Bridge the gap between engineers and the end user to make sure development output hits the mark
  • Help prioritize stories within and across sprints to ensure timely delivery of the overall feature/epic
  • Collaborate with the dev org on a day-to-day basis to ensure they have the information they need to be productive
  • Conduct market and user research to understand problems and validate solutions before we start coding

Qualifications & Skills

  • 4+ years of experience as one or more of the following product manager, UX designer, interaction designer, business analyst, etc.
  • BA/BS degree
  • Previous coding experience (even if recreational) highly desired
  • Experience organizing/conducting client/market research
  • Ability to lead projects autonomously and motivate others
  • Have an opinion but also a high enough EQ that people actually like working with you
  • Previous healthcare experience a plus but not required
  • Experience working on Agile teams
